Joey Schweizer

Joey, originally from Connecticut, came to San Diego to escape the snow after graduating from Lasell College  in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Resort and Casino Management where he received extensive training in many aspects of business including Event Management, Casino Regulations, and Food and Beverage Regulations.
Known for excellent customer service and big bright smile, Joey can take even the most challenging situations and turn them into pleasurable ones.   Joey attributes his ability to provide excellence in customer service to his adoptive parents who were socially outgoing and taught him early on to speak his mind, but more importantly to listen and respect other’s views.  Having always been passionate about being of service and helping others, Joey has actively supported communities as a volunteer thought High School and also traveled with his Youth Group on Mission Trips to help with disaster relief and to re-build homes after Hurricane Katrina.    Most recently he volunteered with Lasell College where he traveled to Belize for a shoulder to shoulder experience to learn about ecotourism and the impact it has on the environment.  While he was there, Joey also had the opportunity to help clean the coral reef and build a picnic table in their jaguar reserve.
Joey has always had great love for music and the arts.  During his high school years, Joey attended two schools, one public and the other for performing arts.  While attending both schools, Joey juggled studying for tests and regular homework along with choreography, singing and acting.  It was during this time, Joey learned the importance of good time management which helped him greatly through college, and even more so now.  In his senior year at College, Joey was awarded The Lasell College Book Award, an acknowledgement for academically excelling with passion and integrity.
Joey is honest, hardworking, and dedicated in all he does.  He’s positive, outgoing, creative, and totally likable   His willing can-do attitude makes him an invaluable asset to our team, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.
